I spoke to the EU ambassador and to Sean Pinner to try and understand something big that’s happening right now: Russia is facing a very real risk of losing its access to the sea.

With another Russian ship hit in the Mediterranean, this isn’t just symbolic anymore. It’s structural. Ports, shipping routes, insurance, fleets, all of it is under pressure in a way we simply haven’t seen before in this war.
